LIGHT TO THE WORLD, a feature length documentary, produced by the Bahá’í World Centre and comprised of footage from over 30 countries, tells the story of Bahá’u’lláh, a Messenger of God, whose Teachings for this age promise an end to division and otherness.
This was an incredible life experience, as I temporary moved to live in one of the most holiest places on earth to perform my craft for an administration whose sole objective is to bring unity to the world. This project was daunting as it aimed to finish a full feature documentary within 9 months, a project that required 20 cinematographers to fly around the world and capture stories that were then sent back in all sorts of different formats, to transcribe over 700 interviews, and to organize terabits of footage while following an ever evolving script.
